For us, quality is non-negotiable. This applies to both the purchase of raw materials and their processing. Only the finest, organically certified raw materials from select farmers go into our MISO.

They are carefully processed using traditional methods and then matured for 6-12 months in our factory in the Black Forest. Our wealth of experience spanning more than 10 years ensures the consistently improved product quality of our miso pastes.

About the founder

Peter learned miso making from his mother, who was trained in the millennia-old art by a Japanese Zen master in 2006. He also traveled to Japan to have his miso tested by renowned masters and to further refine his technique.
