The new blend is perfect – the combination of miso and paprika shimmers like red earth – with white and black sesame seeds dancing on top, while chili and garlic round out the spice.
Taste and use:
Our MISO Gomasio is spicy and slightly piquant—we like to use it with cauliflower, on steak, and as a seasoning for grilled burgers. We detect a slight tingling spiciness in combination with sesame and miso. The whole steamed cauliflower tastes especially delicious with a touch of butter and MISO Gomasio from Schwarzwald-MISO.

The Fritz & Felix restaurant in Baden-Baden, with its chef Farid Fazel, enjoys using Black Forest miso in its cuisine. The miso gomasio, in particular, pairs well with grilled meat and rounds out the flavors.

Our MISO Gomasio is a simple Shichimi Togarashi variant, this Japanese name stands for a 7-spice powder - traditionally also includes lemon, ginger, seaweed and pepper in comparison to our MISO Gomasio.
