Wakame seaweed originally comes from Japan and is a brown seaweed with a spicy, aromatic taste.
Rich in essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iodine and vitamins A, C, E and B6.
In the cleanest part of the Atlantic coast off Galicia, Spain, wakame grows wild in the sea and is harvested by hand.
It is then gently dried at temperatures below 42 degrees.
Wakame seaweed is low in calories and rich in protein and fiber.
Preparation:
Soak for 15 minutes -> for salads/smoothies/soups to eat raw
Cook for 20 minutes -> for soups, vegetables, rice, potatoes, quinoa
fried/baked -> fried with onions, as a side dish or filling, on pizza, bread, casseroles
