Dulse seaweed is a red algae that grows wild on the Spanish coast in Galicia.
It is hand-harvested and then gently dried at temperatures below 42 degrees.
Very rich in vitamins A and C, iron, and potassium. Therefore, it's ideal for a balanced and healthy diet.
Sailors have always valued dulse highly on their travels because, along with sauerkraut, it protected against scurvy thanks to its high vitamin C content.
Preparation:
Dulse flakes are ideal raw as a topping on miso soup, salad and many other dishes.
When cooking, add to soups, pasta, vegetables, couscous or fish at the end of the cooking time
We recommend adding it to omelets, scrambled eggs or pancakes.
