When star chef Alexander Huber called one day from Pleiskirchen in Bavaria - and thus set the ball rolling - Black Forest MISO has now become an indispensable part of fine dining.

At the time, Alexander Huber was a member of the renowned German JRE association (Jeunes Restaurateurs - Germany's Young Top Chefs) and, with great creativity, conjured up amazing menus and dishes in his restaurant every day. But what would he be without his suppliers, he wondered?

A dish can only be as good as its components.

Therefore, in 2016, the chefs and selected producers joined forces to form JRE Origins eV (JRE Genussnetz, was the original name). We both stand for quality and "never-ending passion" in our daily work.

Schwarzwald-MISO is a founding member of JRE-Origins.

In 2024, JRE-Origins was integrated into the association freakstotable eV, founded by Bavarian star chef Tobias Bätz.
